TechFlow news, June 8 — According to Crowdfund Insider, trading and investment platform eToro announced the addition of five new crypto assets on its U.S. platform. U.S. users can now invest in 20 different crypto assets, including Basic Attention Token, Curve, Decentraland, Maker, and Polygon.
Andrew McCormick, Head of eToro U.S., said: "As a platform that has long supported digital assets, we're excited to expand the number of available cryptocurrencies for our U.S. users. Our goal is to provide retail investors with the choices and access to assets they need as they build wealth."
Currently, users in Hawaii, New York, Nevada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands cannot trade these crypto assets. Notably, at the end of last month, eToro also announced the addition of 12 new crypto assets for U.S. investors. Founded in 2007, the platform currently claims to have 40 million registered users across 75 countries.
