TechFlow news, June 7 — According to ChosunBiz, Alpha Asset Management, managed by Korean celebrity Juno Chun-hyuk (husband of Gianna Jun), has suffered significant losses from its investment in game company Wemade. Alpha invested a total of 35 billion KRW in Wemade shares during 2023 and 2024, and now faces cumulative paper losses of 15.8 billion KRW due to a roughly 28% drop in share price. The decline is linked to Wemix, a cryptocurrency issued by Wemade through its subsidiary, being delisted for the second time by South Korean exchanges. The token previously lost around 9 billion KRW in assets following a hacker attack.
