TechFlow, June 6 — According to official information from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the SEC's Crypto Task Force will host a roundtable discussion titled "Decentralized Finance and the American Spirit" on June 9.
The event will be moderated by former SEC Commissioner Troy Paredes and feature participants including Jill Gunter, co-founder of Espresso Systems; Michael Jordan, co-founder of DBA; Omid Malekan, professor at Columbia Business School; Michael Mosier, co-founder of Arktouros; Rebecca Rettig, Chief Legal Officer at Jito Labs; Gabriel Shapiro, founder of MetaLeX; Peter Van Valkenburgh, Executive Director of Coin Center; Erik Voorhees, CEO of Venice AI; and Kevin Werbach, professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
The conference will run from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time and include an opening address, panel discussions, break periods, and a town hall session, focusing on regulatory issues related to digital assets.
