TechFlow, June 6 — According to Crowdfund Insider, digital asset banking group Sygnum announced the completion of a strategically oversubscribed growth funding round totaling $58 million, achieving a post-money valuation exceeding $1 billion.
The cornerstone investor in this round is Fulgur Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on Bitcoin technology and infrastructure. Proceeds from the financing will support Sygnum’s expansion into the EU/EEA markets by 2025 and the establishment of a regulated business in Hong Kong.
Sygnum plans to use the funds to scale its institutional infrastructure, expand its product offerings with a focus on Bitcoin technology, and pursue strategic acquisitions.
