TechFlow news, June 6 — According to CoinDesk, Cathie Wood's ARK Invest purchased nearly 4.5 million shares of stablecoin issuer Circle (CRCL) on its first trading day, worth $373 million based on the closing price.
Circle had a strong debut on the New York Stock Exchange, with its share price reaching a high of $103.75, up approximately 50% from its $69 opening price, and ultimately closing at $83.23, significantly above its $31 IPO price.
Meanwhile, ARK Invest reduced its positions in other cryptocurrency-related companies, selling $39 million worth of Coinbase (COIN) shares, $18.5 million in Robinhood (HOOD) shares, and $10.4 million in Block (XYZ) shares.
