TechFlow, June 5 — According to BitcoinMagazine, Romania's state-owned postal service operator, Posta Romana, announced it will partner with local company BTR Exchange to install cryptocurrency terminals in multiple post offices. BTR Exchange operates the Bitcoin Romania trading platform.
The first terminal has already gone live at Post Office No. 1 in Tulcea, allowing users to deposit cash to top up their Bitcoin Romania platform accounts. Posta Romana stated that the initiative aims to improve accessibility to cryptocurrency transactions and enhance digital financial inclusion.
According to the announcement, four additional terminals will be installed in post offices located in Alexandria, Piatra Neamț, Botoșani, and Nadlac.
