TechFlow, June 4 — According to Barrons, a 24-year-old dual French-Moroccan national, Badiss Mohamed Amide Bajjou, was arrested in Tangier, Morocco, on suspicion of plotting a series of kidnappings targeting French cryptocurrency entrepreneurs.
The suspect is believed to be one of the masterminds behind the January abduction of David Balland, co-founder of hardware wallet company Ledger, valued at over $1 billion, and his partner. In that incident, the kidnappers severed Balland's finger and demanded a substantial ransom.
