TechFlow news, June 3 — According to CoinDesk, Bitcoin mining firm Riot Platforms delivered strong production performance in May, mining 514 BTC, an 11% increase from April and a 139% year-on-year rise. Nearly all of the mined Bitcoin was sold, generating $51.3 million in revenue. Meanwhile, the company’s total hash rate reached 35.4 EH/s, up 142% year-on-year, with improved operational efficiency and reduced energy consumption per mining machine. In terms of business expansion, Riot Platforms is actively entering the AI and high-performance computing sectors. In May, the company acquired 355 acres of land near its Corsicana mining facility to build a large-scale data center serving enterprise and hyperscale customers.
