TechFlow news, June 3 — According to CoinDesk, Coinbase is asking a federal court to take over Oregon's lawsuit against it for allegedly unregistered securities offerings. Coinbase alleges that the lawsuit brought by Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield interferes with federal efforts on digital asset regulation, calling it a "regulatory turf battle."
Coinbase stated that the Oregon Attorney General may lack standing to bring this case, pledged to vigorously defend itself, and reiterated its commitment to achieving uniform federal regulation of cryptocurrency, while making clear it does not intend to voluntarily exit the Oregon market.
