TechFlow news, May 30 — According to monitoring by analyst Yujin, a whale suffered significant losses in ETH transactions: On April 23, the whale sold a total of 50,754 ETH at $1,754 each, receiving $89.03 million in USDT, of which 15,000 ETH were borrowed for short selling; today, it used the same amount of USDT to repurchase only 34,343 ETH at $2,592 per ETH, leaving a net balance of 19,302 ETH after returning the borrowed funds.
Based on current prices, its ETH holdings have shrunk to $50.04 million, down from an original value of $92.69 million—a loss of $42.64 million, equivalent to approximately 16,452 ETH.
