TechFlow news, May 29 — According to Argentine news site TN, a Russian couple operating a cryptocurrency business was kidnapped and later released in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires. The victims were reportedly abducted during dinner at an apartment located at Ravignani Street 1596, after being invited by two Chechen men. The woman's cries for help attracted the attention of staff from a nearby restaurant, leading police to discover the couple bound. The suspects have fled to the UAE and are now subject to a Red Notice issued by Interpol. A ransom of $43,000 in digital currency was paid by a friend of the victims. The case is under investigation by Argentina's Federal Police anti-kidnapping unit and Judge María Romilda Servini.
