TechFlow news, May 29 — According to The Block, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has launched its CDP Wallet infrastructure for developers, which is now in public beta. This wallet leverages Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology, enabling developers to create self-custodial programmable wallets via API without managing private keys.
The CDP Wallet supports EVM chains, Solana, and EIP-712 typed message signing, featuring instant wallet creation and low-latency signing. It can be integrated with development tools such as viem, wagmi, and ethers.js.
The service ensures unencrypted private keys are never exposed by using AWS Nitro Enclaves. Developers interact solely through scoped API credentials, allowing them to define smart transaction strategies and enable automated execution.
