TechFlow news, May 29 — According to Decrypt, Bilal Bin Saqib, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, announced at the Bitcoin 2025 conference that the Pakistani government will establish a strategic bitcoin reserve.
Bilal Bin Saqib said the plan was inspired by the United States. Earlier this year, U.S. President Trump signed an executive order paving the way for America to create a strategic bitcoin reserve. Pakistan stated that these bitcoins will be held permanently.
