TechFlow, May 27 — According to Cointelegraph, Christopher Giancarlo, former chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has joined Swiss crypto bank Sygnum as a senior policy advisor. Giancarlo will serve alongside 11 other advisory board members, advising Sygnum on global regulatory and strategic public-private partnerships.
Sygnum is a Swiss banking group focused on cryptocurrency asset services and achieved unicorn valuation following its latest funding round of $58 million. Giancarlo served as CFTC chairman from 2017 to 2019 and stated that the global digital asset industry is currently at an inflection point for institutional adoption.
