TechFlow reports on May 23, Dennis Porter, co-founder of Satoshi Action Fund, posted on X that Texas Governor Greg Abbott shared an article titled "Texas Pushes Forward with Strategic Bitcoin Reserve: A New Era for State Finances." The article praises the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR) and refers to the governor as a "strong supporter of cryptocurrency." Greg Abbott is expected to sign SBR into law.
Earlier reports indicate that the U.S. state of Texas passed the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve bill SB 21, which passed its third reading with 101 votes in favor and 42 opposed, and has now been sent to the governor's office for signature.
