TechFlow news, May 21 — According to The Block, Uniswap Labs, the development team behind decentralized exchange Uniswap, has responded to patent infringement claims brought by Bancor. A spokesperson for Uniswap Labs stated that the lawsuit is baseless and they will mount an appropriate legal defense.
Previously, Bancor filed a lawsuit against Uniswap Labs and the Uniswap Foundation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleging improper use over the past eight years of Bancor's Constant Product Automated Market Maker (CPAMM) patent technology.
