TechFlow news, on May 21, according to Ping'an Wuhan, Wuhan青山police recently cracked a virtual currency trading fraud case, recovering 200,000 yuan in losses for victims. The suspect committed fraud through the "chopping coins" method, whereby after receiving the victim's transferred virtual currency, they falsely claimed not to have received it and refused to pay the agreed-upon amount in RMB. Currently, two suspects have been criminally detained according to law. Police remind that transactions related to virtual currencies are not protected by law.
