TechFlow reported on January 14 that, according to Cointelegraph, Spanish bank Bankinter has acquired a minority stake in Spanish cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me, joining investors including stablecoin issuer Tether and Spanish banking giant BBVA.
The $35 million funding round aims to support Bit2Me's expansion across Spain and the European Union. Bankinter stated that the investment is intended to "achieve technological and knowledge synergies."
