TechFlow news, May 19 — According to Cointelegraph, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) recently seized multiple assets from a man in Queensland, including nearly 25 bitcoins, a waterfront mansion, and a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, valued at approximately $2.9 million. The AFP stated these assets may be linked to the theft of 950 bitcoins from a French cryptocurrency exchange in 2013. The man had previously been convicted of cybercrimes, including selling data of League of Legends players. Although no criminal charges have been filed in relation to the bitcoin theft, the court has ordered the confiscation of the assets, with proceeds to be used for crime prevention and law enforcement initiatives.
