TechFlow, May 12 — According to on-chain analyst EmberCN (@EmberCN), a whale who has recently shorted Ethereum (ETH) multiple times with a 0% win rate bought back 5,000 ETH (approximately $12.54 million) at $2,509 per ETH seven hours ago—the same ETH it had shorted the previous night—completing its repayment and position closure. Subsequently, the whale acquired 10,000 ETH (approximately $25.09 million) through a circular lending mechanism.
This shorting operation ended in another loss of $90,000, leaving the whale's shorting win rate still at 0%.
