TechFlow news, on May 1, the human verification crypto project World launched in the United States, allowing users to obtain WLD tokens and create a World ID by verifying their identity.
The project will launch in six cities: Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, and San Francisco. Meanwhile, World plans to roll out a Visa card enabling users to make payments using WLD tokens and other digital assets.
In addition, World has partnered with Match Group to launch a pilot program among Tinder users in Japan aimed at helping users verify their real identities. World will also provide access to the prediction market Kalshi through its app. The project aims to rapidly scale to one billion users via a compact Orb device and has partnered with Razer to offer human verification services in gaming. World is developed by Tools for Humanity and was co-founded by Altman and Alex Blania.
