TechFlow, May 1 — According to Tech in Asia, Apex, a satellite manufacturer based in Los Angeles, has secured $200 million in new funding aimed at scaling up production capacity for its standardized satellite platforms.
The round was co-led by Point72 Ventures and 8VC, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Washington Harbour Partners, and StepStone Group. Since its founding in 2022, Apex has raised over $300 million in total funding.
Apex plans to use the funds to enhance operations at its manufacturing facility, which currently produces up to 12 satellite platforms per month.
