TechFlow, April 30 — According to official documentation, FIFA Collect has announced an upgrade of its infrastructure and migration to the EVM-compatible FIFA blockchain. The migration will begin no earlier than May 20, 2025, aiming to improve platform performance, support new feature development, and enhance scalability.
During the migration, the platform will be suspended for approximately 12 hours. Users' existing digital collectibles will be automatically transferred to the new blockchain at no cost. After migration, Algorand wallets (such as Pera and Defly) will no longer be supported; users must switch to MetaMask or other EVM wallets supporting WalletConnect.
FIFA reminds users who have exported their collectibles from the platform to re-import these assets before May 20, 2025, to ensure they are included in the automatic migration.
