TechFlow news, April 27 — According to an official announcement, financial technology infrastructure provider Alpaca has raised $52 million in a Series C funding round. Investors in this round include 850 Management, Derayah, Kuwait Investment Company, Portage Ventures, and Unbound.
Alpaca stated that the funds will be used to further build its API-first infrastructure, accelerate global expansion, and develop products including 24/5 trading and fully-paid securities lending.
The company offers stock, options, and cryptocurrency trading APIs designed for developers.
