TechFlow, April 19 — According to Cointelegraph, cryptocurrency entrepreneur Anthony Pompliano said U.S. President Trump should not carry out his threat to fire the Federal Reserve Chair, warning that dismissing the chair over policy disagreements would set a dangerous precedent.
Pompliano stated he is not a fan of the Federal Reserve, but even when the Fed makes mistakes, responding with another mistake is not the right approach. U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren previously warned that firing Powell could undermine investor confidence in the integrity of U.S. capital markets and potentially trigger a financial crisis.
