TechFlow, April 12 — According to Jinshi Data, at 10:36 p.m. Eastern Time on April 11, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued an announcement providing further guidance on the executive order issued by the U.S. government on April 2, 2025, regarding additional tariffs on imported goods, as well as related tariff executive orders issued on April 7 and April 9. The guidance includes tariff exemptions for products such as computers, servers, smartphones, printers, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, wireless communication devices (e.g., base stations, routers), memory devices, displays, semiconductor-related components, and integrated circuits. A 22-page product exemption list published on the White House website indicates that if the "U.S. content" of a product originating from any country accounts for 20% or more of the total customs declaration value of the imported product, the "U.S. content" will not be subject to additional tariffs; only the "non-U.S. content" will be subject to commensurate tariffs.
