TechFlow news, April 10 — According to TheVerge, on April 10 OpenAI filed a countersuit against Elon Musk, stating that his "relentless attacks on OpenAI are merely a malicious strategy aimed at slowing OpenAI's progress and seizing control for personal gain." Musk had previously proposed a $97.4 billion offer to acquire OpenAI, which was unanimously rejected by the board; OpenAI referred to this in the lawsuit as a "sham acquisition." Musk, a founding member of OpenAI, had earlier sued the company for deviating from its mission of "developing AGI for the benefit of humanity." The case is expected to go to trial in spring 2026.
