TechFlow news, April 7 — During the 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Festival, co-organizer CKB Eco Fund successfully hosted the official forum titled "Bitcoin's Light: The Eternal Legend of Digital Gold." This was the only Bitcoin-focused official forum during the Hong Kong Web3 Festival. Over 20 leading organizations from the Bitcoin ecosystem, including Nervos Foundation, Lightning Labs, Bitmain, and Stacks Foundation, gathered to discuss the technological pathways and application prospects of Digital Gold 2.0, covering technical protocols, financial infrastructure, and cultural consensus.
During the event, CKB launched its new Rock Web5 Initiative. The Rock Web5 Initiative will drive globalization by organizing hackathons and other activities that integrate technology with the industrial characteristics and cultural contexts of different regions.
Meanwhile, Vobile and Guoren Rural Development presented their respective development plans, while projects including SeeDAO, Nervape, Rivtower, and HKbitEX jointly explored Web5 applications and investment trends.
In addition, during the conference, CKB Fiber Network released its 0.5 version, laying the foundation for future compatibility upgrades and marking a solid advancement in CKB’s Web5 vision.
