TechFlow news, on April 7, Filament Finance, a derivatives DEX in the Sei ecosystem, was hacked between 00:00 to 04:00 UTC on April 6, 2025. The attacker exploited price manipulation and a self-liquidation mechanism to withdraw funds unauthorized, resulting in approximately $572,000 in losses. The platform has temporarily suspended trading and withdrawals and is currently conducting an investigation with law enforcement agencies and blockchain forensic partners. The stolen funds were primarily transferred through Symbiosis Bridge to exchanges, particularly FixedFloat. Filament Finance has publicly offered a 10% white-hat bounty to the attacker on condition of returning 90% of the stolen funds, and expressed willingness to negotiate a resolution to avoid legal escalation.
