TechFlow news, April 4 — According to an official announcement, blockchain gaming platform Ultra has completed a new funding round of $12 million, with investment from NOIA Capital, based in Luxembourg, participating through its digital asset fund.
The company also announced the appointment of Maxime van Steenberghe, former partner at Circle Strategies, as Chief Operating Officer. The newly raised funds will be used to support Ultra’s development of a blockchain-based game distribution platform similar to Steam, as well as for talent acquisition, platform expansion and upgrades, and strategic acquisitions.
