TechFlow, April 3 — According to Bloomberg, the South African Revenue Service is intensifying its regulation of participants in crypto asset transactions. Edward Kieswetter, commissioner of the tax agency, said the authority requires all taxpayers, exchanges, and other intermediaries engaged in crypto asset trading to register with the tax authority, or face penalties for illegal activities. Once registration is completed, the tax authority will be able to track their business operations.
