TechFlow, April 2 — According to Cointelegraph, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and cryptocurrency exchange Gemini have jointly requested a 60-day pause in litigation before Judge Edgardo Ramos of the New York federal court, to explore potential settlement options.
The case stems from an SEC lawsuit filed in January 2023 against Gemini and crypto lending firm Genesis Global Capital, accusing them of offering unregistered securities through the Gemini Earn program.
