TechFlow, April 1 — According to the official account of Liangzhou People's Court in Gansu Province, a recent case involving unjust enrichment related to cryptocurrency has been concluded. The court rejected the plaintiff’s claim requesting the return of an investment amount totaling 48,545 yuan.
The case revealed that between October and November 2024, investor Wang transferred a total of 48,545 yuan to Yang for investing in a cryptocurrency called "Golden Glory K Bean." Later, the platform shut down, making withdrawals impossible. The court determined that the cryptocurrency trading platform was suspected of illegal token issuance, illegal fundraising, and other unlawful activities. As the investor is a fully competent adult civil actor, any losses incurred from participating in such illegal activities shall be borne by the investor personally.
