TechFlow, April 1 — According to on-chain security analytics firm PeckShield, over 60 cryptocurrency hacking incidents occurred in the first quarter of 2025, resulting in total losses of $1.63 billion, a 131% increase compared to $706 million in the same period of 2024.
In March 2025 alone, 20 hacking incidents were recorded, causing $33.46 million in losses. Among them, Abracadabra.money lost $13 million, Zoth lost $8.32 million, 1inch suffered a $5 million attack but recovered 90%, Hyperliquid lost $4 million, and WeKey lost $700,000.
