TechFlow reported on March 31, according to RBC, that Gazprombank will issue digital financial assets (DFA) through the National Settlement Depository (NSD) platform, with a total issuance amount of 2 billion rubles (approximately $23.54 million). The digital financial assets will consist of 2 million tokens, each priced at 1,000 rubles, offering an annualized yield of 21%, maturing on May 13, 2025.
According to the report, Russian DFAs are blockchain-based tokenized certificates representing physical assets and do not fall under the category of cryptocurrencies or tokens traded on cryptocurrency exchanges.
