TechFlow reports on March 28 that Binance founder Changpeng Zhao tweeted that Solana apps can now be seamlessly deployed on BNB Chain via svmBNB.
According to the report, svmBNB is a high-performance svm chain developed by the SOON team based on the SOON Stack specifically for BNB Chain. The mainnet currently achieves over 30K TPS, uses BNB Chain as its settlement layer, shares the same execution environment as Solana, and uses $BNB as the gas token. It aims to bring Solana-level performance and user experience to the BNB ecosystem, enabling Solana projects to directly deploy onto the BNB ecosystem via svmBNB. The svmBNB mainnet surpassed 5 million total transactions within one week of launch.
