TechFlow reported on March 20, according to Jinshi News, that the number of initial jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ending March 15 was 223,000, compared to an expected 224,000 and a previously revised figure of 221,000 (originally reported as 220,000).
For the week ending March 8, the number of continuing jobless claims in the U.S. was 1.892 million, against an expected 1.887 million, with the prior value revised up from 1.87 million to 1.859 million.
