TechFlow reports on March 20 that, according to Malwarebytes monitoring, hackers have recently been using posts on the Reddit platform to distribute AMOS and Lumma infostealer malware, specifically targeting cryptocurrency users on Apple Mac and Windows systems.
These malicious programs can steal users' wallet funds and personal data. Hackers primarily use pirated versions of the popular trading platform TradingView as bait to lure cryptocurrency users into downloading and installing the malware. Victims unknowingly have their digital assets and personal information stolen.
Cryptocurrency users should remain vigilant and avoid downloading software from untrusted sources, especially so-called "cracked" applications.
