TechFlow reports, citing TechInAsia, that Atlanta-based surveillance technology company Flock Safety has raised $275 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (A16z), valuing the company at $7.5 billion. Greenoaks Capital and Bedrock Capital also participated in the round.
To date, Flock Safety has raised over $950 million in total funding. The company plans to develop domestically manufactured drones in the U.S. by 2025 and build a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Georgia. It specializes in AI-powered security surveillance solutions primarily targeting government and enterprise customers.
