TechFlow news — Omer (@demirelo), former director of the Avalanche Foundation, announced on X that he, along with directors Aytunç Yildizli and Vikram Nagrani, has officially resigned from their board positions at the foundation and its subsidiary companies earlier this week.
Executive Director Aytunç Yildizli ceased duties on February 28, 2025. Since then, the board has remained in a holding pattern, attempting to chart a path forward.
Omer stated, “During our 18-month tenure, Aytunç Yildizli, Vikram Nagrani, and I advanced several key initiatives, including establishing the Avalanche Foundation’s brand identity, publishing the first annual report, launching incentive programs such as infraBUIDL() and infraBUIDL(AI), developing the AiFRED project, enhancing coordination within the ecosystem, and shifting growth strategy toward new market expansion and strategic partnerships. This collective, voluntary resignation was a ‘well-considered’ decision. We will continue to follow the development of the Avalanche ecosystem and wish the Avalanche ecosystem and community all the best.”
