TechFlow news, according to Cointelegraph, citing Arkham Intelligence, a cryptocurrency wallet previously linked to the darknet market Nucleus reactivated on March 7. The wallet holds over $400 million worth of Bitcoin and has transferred BTC valued at $77.5 million to three new addresses, with the main wallet still holding approximately $365 million.
This wallet had remained dormant since April 2016, when the Nucleus marketplace shut down, storing around 5,000 BTC in vendor and customer deposits. At that time, according to Arkham data, these funds were worth about $2.1 million. Notably, the wallet's reactivation occurred the day after former U.S. President Trump signed an executive order establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve.
Since 2024, multiple wallets from the Satoshi Nakamoto era have resumed activity, including three wallets that moved Bitcoin totaling $61 million in May, and five miner wallets that reactivated in September.
