TechFlow news — According to The Block, during the first-ever cryptocurrency summit held at the White House, Trump stated, "I support lawmakers passing stablecoin legislation and other bills addressing market structure, and I hope the dollar maintains its dominant position for a long time to come. If possible, I’d like Congress to send this bill to my desk before their August recess."
Trump also addressed de-banking issues during the summit, calling for an end to "Operation Choke Point 2.0," which has become a hot topic among certain lawmakers and the digital asset industry in recent months. Cryptocurrency companies have increasingly criticized the initiative, saying they face challenges when trying to establish and maintain bank accounts in the U.S. Trump said: "They [the Biden administration] are forcing banks to shut down accounts belonging to crypto businesses and entrepreneurs, effectively blocking fund transfers between certain exchanges, and weaponizing the government against the entire industry."
