TechFlow News — On March 7, according to Jinshi Data, U.S. President Donald Trump said on March 6 that he "very likely" would extend the deadline for the sale of the social video app TikTok if no deal is reached by April 5.
Trump stated, "There are many people interested in TikTok," and "We have at least a month now, so we don't need an extension." At the same time, Trump said he would be willing to extend the final deadline if necessary.
In January this year, after being elected U.S. President, Trump signed an executive order suspending the enforcement of the "sell or ban" law against the short-video social media platform TikTok for 75 days. This means the enforcement deadline of the "sell or ban" law has been postponed to April 5.
