TechFlow news, on March 7, according to Jinshi Data, U.S. President Trump signed an amendment on tariffs for Mexico and Canada, exempting products compliant with the "United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement" (USMCA) from tariffs until April 2.
In addition, Trump stated he would not change the tariff measures on steel and aluminum. On February 1, Trump signed an executive order imposing a 25% tariff on goods imported from Mexico and Canada. On February 3, Trump announced a 30-day delay in implementing these tariff measures, continuing negotiations. As a result, the related tariff hikes took effect on March 4.
