TechFlow news: The oracle solution Pyth Network has established the Pyth Community Council via a vote by the Pyth Network DAO. The council aims to oversee the execution of community initiatives, encourage broad participation, and amplify the collective voice of the Pyth community.
The Community Council is a governing body composed of seven elected members responsible for overseeing the execution of community-related affairs and jointly managing the community multisig wallet. The council’s core responsibilities include fostering value creation and network growth, representing the community's collective voice, and advancing community incentives. Council members will serve 12-month terms, with annual elections held thereafter. Each cycle, two members will be replaced, while the remaining five members will continue based on tenure, prior election voting records, and multisig participation.
Going forward, the Pyth Network DAO will continue releasing announcements regarding the Community Council nomination process and on-chain voting. Community members interested in joining are encouraged to stay informed.
