TechFlow News — On March 4, David Sacks, the White House's AI and cryptocurrency director, posted on X saying, "It's a lazy and foolish narrative to accuse highly successful businesspeople who enter government service of doing so to make more money. As far as I know, serving in government materially disrupts and severs personal commercial interests. The real question is how lifelong 'public servants' have become so wealthy.
For example, how did Nancy Pelosi become one of the greatest stock pickers of our time? How did the former head of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) become a billionaire? Why are ZIP codes around Washington, D.C. among the wealthiest in the nation?
In my experience, every billionaire who has taken a government role has done so for one reason: they deeply love this country and want to make it great again. To achieve that, we must drain the swamp and end blatant, large-scale government corruption."
Elon Musk shared the post with the comment: "Exactly."
