TechFlow news, on March 4, according to Jinshi Data, Massachusetts State Police told CBS News that seven Tesla (TSLA.O) charging stalls at a local charging station were deliberately set on fire, and an investigation is currently underway into this suspicious incident.
Littleton Fire Chief Steele McCurdy said, "At this point, it certainly appears to be arson." The fire occurred around 1 a.m. on Monday at The Point shopping center on Constitution Avenue in Littleton. Littleton Police stated that when officers arrived at the scene, the charging station was engulfed in flames and thick smoke.
In recent weeks, acts of vandalism targeting Tesla products have erupted across several U.S. states. Tesla CEO Musk supports former U.S. President Trump and currently leads the Department of Government Efficiency. Some Tesla drivers say such actions won't affect Musk at all, but only harm those who genuinely rely on the charging stations.
