TechFlow news, on March 4, U.S. President Trump announced at a press conference that TSMC will invest $100 billion in the United States. He also stated that the U.S. will impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico starting March 4, adding that there is no more room for negotiation with these two American allies. In addition, Trump said the U.S. will implement reciprocal tariffs beginning April 2, and will impose tariffs on countries that engage in currency devaluation as a form of sanction. Earlier, Trump had also revealed plans to impose tariffs on agricultural products starting April 2.
