TechFlow reports that on March 3, according to Fox News reporter Eleanor Terrett, U.S. House Republican Whip Tom Emmer and Representative Ritchie Torres are jointly launching the Congressional Crypto Caucus, a bipartisan initiative aimed at advancing pro-crypto policies within the House of Representatives.
Unlike the Congressional Blockchain Caucus formed in 2017, this new group will function more as a voting bloc to rally support for digital asset legislation currently being developed in the House, including bills on stablecoins and market structure. Representative Emmer said the formation of the caucus responds to millions of American voters who in November supported candidates prioritizing the advancement of digital assets and blockchain technology.
