TechFlow reports that on February 28, according to Forbes business journalist Eleanor Terrett, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Crypto Task Force is preparing to host a series of roundtable meetings with industry participants titled "Spring Sprint to Crypto Clarity."
The first of the planned five roundtables will be held on March 21 at the SEC's office in Washington, D.C., according to two sources familiar with the matter.
The theme of the inaugural meeting will focus on "defining securities status." This move indicates the SEC may be seeking to provide clearer guidance on the regulatory framework for crypto assets.
